My Favorite Mountain Biking Place!

We all have our favorite places to go, see and things to do. Mine has to be mountain biking! Simply the feeling of wind rushing across your face, and the exact movements you must  make in order to ensure your safety, and the adrenalin pumping through your veins giving you unprecedented strength and courage.

While this might of course be more dangerous that going and sitting on the beach, it’s what suits me, and I love it!

So this picture here is a quick shot from the end of the lake at Linley Valley in Nanaimo. While this park is known for its amazing walking trails, it has many hidden mountain bike trails offering much difficulty, demanding all that much more precision.

Next time I make my way out there I’ll be sure to snap some more shots to share with you all!

Cheers!

How is this possible??

Hey all.

I’m sure you might have already seen this photo taken by Frans Lanting over at NatGeo but I figured I would but it up here just incase you haven’t.

The strangest part about this photograph is that there where no after effects (meaning photoshop, fireworks, etc…) or any effects put on the camera at the time of the shot. It’s simply just an extraordinary, difficult to believe, shot taken at exactly the right moment, which will probably never be seen by anyone ever again! But luckily it was featured by NatGeo for everyone to see and share :)

Hey Everybody!

Hey everybody! So this is my first post,  both on WordPress, and in overall blogging.

So about me: I’m currently a student in Nanaimo, BC. I’m a very techy guy, but definitely not a nerd.. Yes everybody, there is a difference.. I love the problem solving and design aspects of programming and graphics design, but I just cannot get over the outdoors. I always try to balance my time in order to get the most out of my life!

I can’t wait to get started and start building a solid base of write-ups. I’ll be mostly blogging about pictures I find interesting or unusual, pictures I snap, which will most likely be of Vancouver Island Nature shots with maybe the odd person, and any tips or ideas I have on cameras in general.

I’m totally open to new ideas for blog posts, or subjects you want me to cover.

I hope you enjoy my future posts, and will always greatly appreciate your feedback!

Thanks!
